irondavy: I posted about this before, but it took me a few days to actually go sign up on Marrow.org for my kit. There’s no reason to wait, so I figured I’d give anybody else procrastinating another poke. It ain’t just for the South Asians, 1/5 white folk don’t find matches either. Just sent away for my kit, too. Amit means the world to me, and I believe that this moment—when we all wake up to the terrible reality of leukemia—is exactly the right moment to be a part of the solution, even if it’s for someone I don’t know yet, someday far in the future. Seeing the outpouring of love and support for Amit over the past week, I truly believe that we’re all more connected than ever. This is a part of that.
